Integrating R&D Resources, Advancing Collaborative Innovation — Yangzhou Princechem Hosts API/Intermediate Synergy Seminar On March 19, Yangzhou Princechem successfully held a seminar on “Synergistic Development of APIs and Intermediates,” gathering R&D leaders from Lianhuan Group’s Sci-Tech Innovation Center, Yangzhou Princechem, Lianhuan Pharmaceutical, and Nanjing Lianzhi Pharmaceutical Technology. General Manager and Institute Dean Qu Jun stated that the pharmaceutical and chemical industry is undergoing a critical transformation. Yangzhou Princechem will leverage R&D strengths and build an open innovation platform to drive collaborative growth within the Lianhuan Group’s pharmaceutical sector. Deputy Director Jiang Nan shared insights on starting material R&D and supply, using key API projects to illustrate technical challenges. Discussions emphasized the need for deeper upstream–downstream collaboration to address cost pressures, strengthen supply security, and develop greener processes. General Manager Niu Ben highlighted three focus areas: translating seminar outcomes into actionable projects, enhancing supply chain resilience, and revitalizing established products through technological innovation. Sci-Tech Innovation Center Director Huang Kun proposed strengthening cross-company communication, sharing R&D resources, and initiating joint project applications to achieve shared value and reduced redundancy. The seminar provided clear direction for technological innovation in APIs and intermediates and led to several preliminary cooperation intentions, injecting new momentum into building a more efficient and sustainable pharmaceutical value chain.
